Currently Recruiting
We are always looking for good players, so even if your class is not currently listed in the left side of this page and you feel that you excel at your class then apply anyway.

About the guild
Finding Emo is a casual and relaxed guild that is focused on 10 man progression. We are a close knit group, with a fairly modest sized raid core due to the advantage of 10 man raiding. As such there is a friendly and light hearted atmosphere in the guild, with everyone having the opportunity to befriend all other members - instead of there being far too many people to ever get to know.

There is a relaxed and informal tone to the guild, both in the forums, in game and on Vent - yet with the discipline to know when coordination and concentration are needed, especially during raids.

We push ourselves to remain on the cusp of 10 man progression, having cleared all 10-man heroic content in Wrath of the Lich King without making use of 25-man raids. We aim to stay on this path in Cataclysm and look forward to compete with the other guilds doing 10-man content on the server.

Guild loyalty and dedication is expected of everyone in the guild. Members put themselves behind the guild, especially when it comes to dealing with outside parties. The reputation of the guild is vital to us and all members strive to uphold it, showing our teamwork and friendly atmosphere both in and out of game.

The guild was initially established to be a casual raid guild, 10 or 25 man. However things soon changed when we progressed far as a 10 man guild and we began to see the major advantages to a 10 man only guild.

With a more cohesive and manageable group of members than most traditional 25 man guilds, we can more easily work together - playing off each others play styles and becoming more accustomed to raiding together as a team.

Requirements
While we consider ourselves a somewhat more relaxed guild compared to the other "hardcore" ones out there it does not mean we freely invite anyone and everyone.

As such you need to meet our requirements before we will even consider your application.

* Gear acceptable for current progression
You should be geared enough to at least contribute to some of our easier raids.

* A reliable computer and internet connection
Everybody crashes at some point, and nobody's computer lasts forever.
However you should have the equipment to be able to play the game consistently and well.

* Dependable attendance
We do not demand all of our members to attain a high degree of attendance, but if your ambition is to make it to our raiding core, you will need to be rather active. In order to be considered for a spot in our raiding core, you need to be able to maintain an attendance of at least 80%. Most of our members join our raids between 90% and 95% of the time.
Regardless of your position in the guild, we expect you to show up if you sign up for a raid.

Qualities
There are a number of qualities that we respect and admire in our players, and anyone looking to join us would also need to
share and develop these traits.

* Skilled
Know how to play your class. While there are many members who will help and guide you in playing better, you need to be able to do well in your class prior to joining. Should you be so lucky as to get a trial or even become one of our progression raiders we will expect you to be prepared for any relevant raid content. We take great pride of our raiders being amongst the finest in all the lands.

* Self-sufficent
While the guild does supply flasks, consumables and enchants to our members for certain content, it is your own responsibility to have the needed consumables to raid with. This must be done prior to any raid, and you should always ensure you have more than enough, rather than run out halfway through.

* Constantly improving
WoW is a fast paced game, with constant changes and modifications to how classes, spells, mechanics and encounters work.
You need to be able to keep on top of these changes your self as they happen.

* Dedicated
We are not a boosting service to get gear for a different guild. If you apply to join us, you are commited to joining us and progressing with us through thick and thin.

* Personality
You must have a compatible personality to the guild. This means being able to take a joke and sarcasm, as well as comments on your play and criticism. There is also a high possibility of swearing and adult level chat in both the forums, mumble and in-game.

Behaviour
While there is no minimum age to applying or joining Finding Emo, you must have a level of maturity that is in line with the rest of the guild.

* Mature
We are not looking for childish arguments, drama or stupid behaviour. We have a reputation to consider and are looking for people who will respect and uphold this reputation.

* Reputable
You should have a good overall reputation on the server, and especially with your previous guild. This is just as important once you have joined.

* Team player
It is essential that you work well as part of a team. Through good times and bad you must be willing to work together with others, and follow the instructions of superiors.

* Desire to succeed
We are a progression guild, and while we are a fairly relaxed one we do expect drive and determination from members.
People who look to suggest we call a raid after two wipes are not what we are after.

Raiding Times
We currently raid three days a week; Thursday, Sunday and Monday.

Our raid times are from 19:45 CET (18:45 GMT) until about 23:30 CET (22:30 GMT)

Should you need to join a raid late, or leave early, then you must discuss this with the raid leader with as much advanced notice as possible.
You should be able to raid at least twice a week, and it is vital that you attend every raid you have signed up for.

Loot
We operate with a Loot Council system currently.
