After a long and tedious adventure Finding Emo has finally completed the task that was placed upon her finest Rogue. With the aid of a Son of Deathwing, cleansed of the madness that haunted the Black Dragonflight, we were able to slay the last foul beasts that roamed the realm of Azeroth. As a reward of her continuous effort, our rogue was rewarded with a pair of daggers, coated with a fragment of the Madness. May that Madness strike righteousness into the hearths that stand in her way.

We also have not been sitting still after freeing the world of the Destroyer!

Deathwing is gone. Aspect of Death, the Unmaker of Worlds, the Black, the Destroyer. Known under many things. Feared for his Madness. The Shattering is where it started. Azeroth trembled under the massive hatred released out of the depths of Deepholm. The Cataclysm had started.

After months of hard work our small elite team managed to push back the allies of the Black Scourge. Destroying the Twilight Citadel, the last Experiments of Nefarian, the Windlord. We bound the Land of Fire to our will. It was time.

We finished him at the beginning.

Finding Emo, we did it, together. Thank you for an amazing expansion filled with amazing experiences. I could kill for some sushi now, maybe some noodles. Lets go get Chinese.

A lot has happened during the rogue's absence.

Heroic Firelands has since long been flushed away (minus Ragnaros). All those tedious wipes on Lord Rhyolith felt like a stab in the back after the revisit to Firelands the other week for some bashing fun. His gigantic thump to the lava risen island was not as gigantic anymore. It was more like a faint thud barely notable over the sounds of laughter, accompanied by friendly teasing that escalated the further the squad progressed into the lands where the rogue once had abandoned them.

After the rogue's sidestep into honorable living, she accepted her fate and brought out the bottle. With her daggers drenched in poisons (what did you think?), she threatened the druid, forcing him to use his knowledge in rejuvenation. Together with the sturdy dwarf, she was now back in her well-known zone.

This post is not going to be only about the rogue or the past. Finding Emo lived on and welcomed Dragon Soul with the spark from Firelands, reforming new powers. The unenlightened cannot speak about that time though. The rogue speaks of current times.

So. Bosses have fallen – too many to tell a story of them all. Some of you may remember the rogue whispering stories of adventures told in an alternative fashion. Some of you may facepalm over the dramatic approach of something so mainstream in gaming sense. Either way: the schizophrenic experience is back to caress your spine.

It is a shame that the rogue never gets to tell the story of neither Morchok, Yor'sahj the Unsleeping, Ultraxion nor Hagara the Stormbinder (no group screenshots dammit – paint me pictures Kanro!). But they are most definitely a part of Finding Emo’s history.

Thanks for reading fellow emos! Let us prosper!

It had been a hot day but the evening embraced the humanoids with a warm embrace; the only purpose the campfire had was to shed a little bit of a light. The little light that the campfire provided was more then enough for the group to enjoy their drinks and enjoy their stories. Stories of battles and victories, losses and defeat. Everyone was relaxed, except for the casters of the group. They had felt a distortion in their Magic. The distortion came not from what had happened but it came from that which still had to come. The magic users sought isolation from the group to speak. Quickly they understood what the distortion meant. Soon the Lands of Fire would open up and would spread its rage over Azeroth.

Boys and girls, ladies and gentleman, I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have not only granted me the honor to collect the legendary staff for you, but you have also granted me an amazing half year of Firelands raiding.

Soldiers in doubt; the glory of Lord Rhyolith collapsing to the ground seemed unobtainable. Something had to be awfully wrong with this prolonged pain. After constant reformations and reassignments, the team found themselves in a chaos of inconsistency. Never before in this rogue’s history in the army of Finding Emo has the performance been this flickering.

That was until they last night found the spark of hope as they edged closer to his defeat. Soldiers were growing weary and a holy soldier, defeated by his hiccup connection, had had enough. At his resignation, he muttered, "Kill that fat fuck.”

Yet another reformation, but we could already taste sweet victory on our lips. Not many encounters later, we were once again facing his molten self. He became the fat fuck that was killed.

Well deserved downing, fellow emos!

Ragnaros, the lord of all fire elementals, embraced the lair with his smoldering presence. Not wanting him to burn down the big old tree, Nordrassil, we held each other’s hands before engaging what would be one of the most epic happenings.

Splitting up all over his court, we dodged one lethal attack after another. He hurled his hammer to the ground, causing lava waves to push back anything in its path. He set out traps, forcing us to make them blow up in our faces. He pushed us back with his force, but we kept on recovering. Reaching his patience’s first limit, he swung his hammer to the ground as if it was a statement, letting his sons act as unstoppable missiles. Once they were cleared from the playground after distinct management, we were back to handling Ragnaros’ wrath.

It was time for a change of plan. Instead of letting us go kamikaze mode on traps and blasting us, he engulfed the floors of his court in flames and planted seeds in our soldiers. Seeds, which were obviously for summoning even more minions of his kind. We formed a tight formation, still watching out for his hammer and fiery floors, making it easy to infiltrate all molten infernos. Soon enough, we had tested Ragnaros’ patience yet again; his hummer swung to the floor and we reunited with his sons, this time accompanied by scions. Some of us were held back by blazing heat, forcing us to attentiveness. Dragging out the play by letting one of his sons live for a little bit longer, we managed to buy a bit of time for Ragnaros’ last attempt in culling us out.

Keeping to his precious hammer, Ragnaros still occasionally slammed it at our direction. And what is culling, really, without burning floors? On top of that, meteors spawned, rolling after their chosen target at an increasing pace. Ping-ponging these back and forth caused chaos. Not until half of the squad had fallen to the ground did we manage to gain back control. The final few that were left performed their tasks carefully, even if it meant only getting to strike Ragnaros every now and then in-between kiting the huge meteors. Very slowly, but steadily, he sunk into the depths of his lava pit.

This, was a very stoked moment for Finding Emo, thus opening the doors to heroic content. New challenges await us in the depths of the smoldering Firelands; this was only the beginning.

At the gates leading to Ragnaros’ whereabouts, stood Majordomo Staghelm, a very manipulative man. Whatever we did was used against us.

When we stood tall together, we were scythed down by his scorpion claw as punishment. When we stood alone, we were charged at individually by his sudden change of form to a feline. We took the blows and recovered.

Angered by our endurance, he tried tricking us into separating by planting seeds; he summoned orbs whose suffering needed to be shared in order to be bearable. Being consistent and patient, we ended his wicked dress-up game.

The gate to Ragnaros was now unguarded.

Venturing further into Firelands we visited Alysrazor, a beautiful hostess of an extraordinary circus show.

Soldiers were raised to the sky to fly through hoops in the air, soaring over soldiers dancing with hatchlings on the ground, while others were dealing with party crashers. Worms arose from their mounds and blew fire in their path, until they were eventually fed to the starving hatchlings.

The show had lasted for a good three minutes when we were finally thrown into our next challenge: avoiding fiery tornadoes swirling all over the place. After a few seconds of heated chase after tornadoes, Alysrazor was stunned to the ground. The soldiers thrusted their swords and daggers, chopped with their axes and waved with their wands in order to burst her down as much as possible, before she awakened from her short period of paralyzation. She arose from the ground to nitpick for a moment, before going on with the show.

We reached chaos. A party crasher dealer was down, making them gain advantage. The circus was falling apart along with its participants and audience. That was until Alysrazor made a final dive across the stage, just to collapse to the ground.

It was time to face Baleroc, the Gatekeeper.

After a few practice attempts, we reformed a part of the team, cutting it down to one tank and extending it to a third healer. Sorting the soakers in neat piles simplified the mechanics of stacking from a position point of view. The execution was close to flawless.

With the tank’s health pool constantly increasing in symbios with Baleroc’s attacks, the healers were thrown into healing ping-pong heaven.

Consistency led us to a one-shot. Fabulous execution, people!

After climbing a hill with fire falling from the sky, we reached Lord Rhyolith, standing tall on his platform risen from the lava.

Alternating between his right and left leg, we forced his path towards his erupting volcanoes, bursting their way out of the ground like a flower through asphalt. In the meantime, his minions were dealt with by our ranged squad.

As his armor was slowly weakening for every crushed volcano, he finally exploded out of his shell, revealing his molten self. Like butter in the sun, he melted right before our eyes. After too many being sacrificed in the paths of fire in earlier attempts, we made it to the final stage to secure him getting past those annoying 2 %.

Thank you everyone for last night!
